My review of TheatreWorks' latest
It's not a musical, but it is a Pulitzer Prize winner. Anna in the Tropics is playing at the Lucie Stern in Palo Alto. I know it was supposed to be like a Cuban emigre version of a Tennessee Williams play, but I was more distracted by annoying audience members around me than by the storyline. Not a good sign.
